When built had an 8hp  9’’dia 8’’stroke vertical direct action engine, with steam cut off at half stroke, driving a Griffiths 3 bladed screw propeller. Engine constructed at GJC’s works under and designed by Mr Elliott.  Also small donkey engine for boiler feed and bilge working at 5 lbs psi (SoC)

When sold had a 10hp inverted 10’’ cylinder direct action engine, driving a Griffiths’ 2-bladed wrought iron screw with gunmetal bosses and a direct action force and lift donkey pump
